Overview
Amazing Indies works to identify, document, and bring visibility to India’s native dog landraces.
Many of these dogs have existed for generations but are not formally recognised in official systems. Without documentation and awareness, valuable native dog types are already declining in visibility and disappearing in parts of the country.
This initiative brings together research, public awareness, and institutional dialogue to strengthen recognition and long-term preservation.
Why This Matters
